TITLE: Expert for awareness-raising on juvenile crime prevention
LOCATION: 5 regions of RA: Yerevan, Armavir, Ararat, Syunik, Lori
JOB DESCRIPTION: Fund for Armenian Relief Children’s Support Centre is currently seeking to hire an expert for awareness-raising campaign on juvenile crime prevention in the frame of 2 current reforms: Integrated Social Services and De-institionalization of children

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Develop an outline on juvenile crime prevention in the frame of 2 current reforms: Integrated Social Services and De-institionalization of children
– specifically address the ISS reforms and roles of case managers within the reforms;
– specifically address the child rights basis of juvenile crime prevention efforts;
– emphasize the importance of cooperation among the stakeholders related to juvenile justice;
– facilitate the meetings;
– develop a report on the meeting results;
– develop a handout on frequently asked questions with their answers.

Expert’s service is anticipated for 5 days: 1 days in each of the following regions: Yerevan, Armavir, Ararat, Syunik, Lori.

DELIVERABLES:
– Developed outline on juvenile crime prevention in the frame of 2 current reforms: Integrated Social Services and De-institionalization of children;
– Developed report on the meeting results;
– Developed handout on frequently asked questions with their answers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Higher education, preferably in Law/Social Sciences;
– Professional work experience in juvenile justice field;
– Training/facilitation experience
– Excellent knowledge of the current reforms related to juvenile justice;
– Excellent computer skills: knowledge of the MS Office package;
– Excellent knowledge of Armenian and English languages;
– Good communication skills;
– Team working and time management skills.
